Doctor Rytis Rimdeika is a professor at University of Health Sciences Lithuania, and former Head of Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the period of 2006-2021. His experience as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is 30 years. He performs more than 400 surgeries a year, as well as many cosmetic procedures – laser, fillers, botulinum toxin, thread lift. He is one of rare surgeons in Lithuania with double board specialty certification: Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and General Surgery.
Dr. R. Rimdeika is a well known speaker at many international conferences, as well he has been an executive at international professional organizations and board member / reviewer at various international medical journals. Doctor is a trainer and mentor for other Plastic Surgeons, PhD students and medical students.
Education and Professional Experience
Dr. R. Rimdeika trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Lithuania, as well he had many trainings abroad in Netherlands, Germany, France, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Belgium, Switzerland and other countries.

He is a member of Lithuanian Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, European Society for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, International Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Confederation, European Wound Management Association.
