Gastroenterology center

Gastroenterology Center – it is a center, in which gastroenterology services are provided, gastrointestinal diseases and liver disorders are diagnosed and treated (gastritis, neoplastic dyspepsia,  gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gallstones illness, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, hepatitises, gastric and colon polyps, cancer).

• In Gastroenterology Clinic consult and treat doctors-gastroenterologists.
• The tests performed: instrumental – internal organs' ultrasound, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EFGDS), rectoscopy, colonoscopy; laboratory – complete blood count, clinical urine test, biochemical blood analyses (AST, ALT, AP, GGT, bilirubin, HbsAg, anti-HCV), coprological (faecal) test.    
• Early diagnosis of anti-cancer conditions of the gastrointestinal tract is provided. The center studies patients at increased risk for gastrointestinal tumor diseases, their monitoring in the presence of changes in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract is continued. Endoscopic examinations are performed using a variety of modern facilities – the latest generation equipment is used to perform studies: the endoscopic facility for colonoscopy „Evis Exera III Olympus“, the gastroscope „Exera III Olympus“.
